Description:
Monty is a very sweet native pony, willing to learn and desparate to
be busy! He works well on the lunge and in long reins, and has loose
jumped up to 2'6'. He is very quick on his feet, and will turn on a
sixpence! My 5 year old daughter has been riding him on the lead rein
for the last few years and during the summer we started to break him
to harness,which he has enjoyed. He works well in harness and happily
pulls a tyre around the field. He has also had loose shafts through
the tugs a few times and is not overly fazed! Sadly, my daughter just
doesn't have the interest to keep him, and a new job means I no
longer have the time to keep him occupied, so he is currently turned
away. Monty needs a home that is experienced with ponies,and an owner
and can give him time and patience to grow.I think he has good
potential as a driving or pony-club type pony. He is NOT a novice
ride, a school master or a confidence giver. He is green around the
edges, but keen to learnand please.
