Prices Lowest Ever |
A report by
experts in the USA believes horse prices are the lowest they have
ever been and it appears to be a similar story here in the UK.
The recession
has made many people review their finances, resulting in numerous
horse sales at well below their market value. This is often done
simply to remove the monthly financial commitment of keeping a horse.
It has become
clear that when some people initially buy a horse, they do not always
realise the day to day costs of keeping it. The price of food,
bedding and vet fees can be considerable. If you then have to pay for
livery, tack and running a horsebox, the monthly cost can run into
several hundred pounds.
Of course
lower sales prices means buyers can expect to find a much better
animal for their budget. |
