The riders, who are all members of the World Class Programme funded by UK Sport, were given a tour of the site and were pleased with the progress made. Although there has been some local objections to the venue regarding the possible long term damage to the park, the London Olympic committee expects to lodge a planning application for the site within the next few weeks.
